FSAE

Description:

I transferred to WPI in the fall of 2017 from a local Community college who was not involved in FSAE. I was ecstatic to hear about the formula SAE club at WPI and joined the club during my first week of school. Because of my automotive back ground I was able to jump right in and start working on the cars. The first thing I was involved in was changing the complete engine wire harness on one of the older cars to get it running again. In addition to this I have been preforming many other repairs to get it ready to drive in the spring. I was also able to help the 2018 senior capstone project team throughout the 2017-2018 and attend the 2018 competition at Michigan Speedway.

During my senior year I was a part of the 2019 FSAE team where we designed and built a new car for the 2019 competition.

The 2019 WPI vehicle was entered into the Michigan FSAE competition and placed 36th out of 120 teams globally.
